A B O U T

Hi! I am Dasha, an actor and dancer based in New York, drawn to stories that live in-between cultures, languages, and identities.

My work explores women who carry the weight of survival with grace, rage, silence, and humor — characters who exist on the margins of systems yet protect their dignity in small, defiant ways.

This summer, I’m making my New York Theatre Festival debut as Nadia in Let’s Play the Game. Recent screen credits include Kevin’s List (rom-com/drama), Lady Lilith (a short film about acceptance and letting go), and Erase the Record, an experimental piece inspired by Bergman and Tarkovsky.

When I’m not acting, I’m dancing at block parties, learning new dance styles, or teaching a beginner NewStyle Hustle class in Manhattan.

When not acting, I get down at block parties, learn new dances or teach a beginner’s NewStyle Hustle dance class in Long Island City.

Fun fact about me: I choreographed 3 musicals and danced in 4 musicals in American University in Bulgaria: "Memphis", "All Shook Up", "Burlesque" and "Catch Me If You Can".
